I was privileged to shoot the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee press event last week in Dallas. The assignment included ‘behind the scenes’ event coverage as well as shooting portraits of celebrity committee members such as legendary runner Michael Johnson, legendary running backs Emmitt Smith and Tony Dorsett, and legendary sportscaster Pat Summerall. Legendary, indeed.

Above, the money shot. Michael Johnson. As I mentioned on Twitter, I was more excited to meet him than any rock star I’ve ever been introduced. It’s like meeting Jesse Owens or something. But I kept the Fanboy-o-meter low.

Above is former Dallas Cowboy quarterback Troy Aikman (an Oklahoma native, I might add) Is it just me, or does his profile look strikingly similar to John F. Kennedy?
